Sarah Fletcher
Biographical Note
Sarah Fletcher was a schoolteacher for over 20 years before becoming a (senior) lecturer. She worked first at the University of Bath and later on at the Bath Spa University. Photography is a passion of hers, both as a personal pursuit and as an integral part of undertaking research to assist teaching in schools and in universities. Fletcher worked in collaboration with research colleagues in Japan since 1999, and her work was chosen for the Carnegie Foundation KEEP Toolkit Gallery feature. Latterly, she has been the founder and editor for IJMCE the International Journal of Mentoring and Coaching in Education as well as co-author of a SAGE handbook for Mentoring and Coaching in Education. A Ph.D. was awarded in Japan at Waseda University in 2012. Sarah Fletcher is currently an independent educational consultant.
