Rick Marlatt

Rick Marlatt is assistant professor of English language arts and literacy at New Mexico State University where he received the 2020 Leading the Way Award for excellence in teaching and previously received the College of Education’s Emerging Scholar Award in 2018. His work bridges the fields of teacher education, creative writing, digital literacies, literature study, and sociocultural theory. Rick currently serves as co-chair of the ELATE Commission on Digital Literacies in Teacher Education.

Stefani Boutelier

Stefani Boutelier, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Education at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI. She teaches graduate courses primarily supporting inservice teachers in completing their research projects as well as literacy and curriculum design courses. Her K-12 teaching experience was in Southern California and her research interests include ed tech, literacy, andragogy, and identity. Dr. Boutelier has published works in both academic and creative genres.

Lori Fredricks

Lori Fredricks is currently an Associate Professor of TEFL at the American University of Armenia. She received a PhD. in Language and Literacy Education from Georgia State University and has also worked in the US, Tajikistan, Egypt, and China. She has enjoyed a career as an illustrator and fine artist in addition to being a researcher, teacher and teacher-trainer.
