Kesler<\/p>\n<h4>Biographical Note<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Ted Kesler<\/strong> is an associate professor at Queens College, CUNY. He co-directs the pre-service master&#8217;s program in childhood education. His research interests include: multimodal reader response, critical media literacy, children&#8217;s non-fiction, and effects of high-stakes testing on classroom pedagogy.
