Bio:<\/span><\/strong> Ewa McGrail<\/b>, Ph.D.,<\/strong> is Associate Professor of Language and Literacy Education at Georgia State University. In her research, she examines digital multimodal composition, multimodal assessment, copyright as well as media literacy, and social representations of outgroups in mass media, popular culture and literature. Dr. McGrail teaches master\u2019s and doctoral- level courses in the areas of writing, digital multimodal composition, reading, media literacy, and English education methods.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Bio:<\/span><\/strong> J. Patrick McGrail, Ph.D.<\/strong> is Professor of Communication and Broadcasting at Jacksonville State University. He teaches theory and praxis in video and audio production and television. Before this, he was Assistant Professor of Communications at Susquehanna University and Penn State\/Altoona, where he taught a broad range of courses in electronic media. His research interests include copyright in music and movies, narratives in screenwriting and video storytelling. He also has a keen interest in music production, and holds a number of musical copyrights. Other interests include media law and policy, objectivity and narratives in journalism, and international broadcasting.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Bio:<\/span><\/strong> Gertrude Tinker Sachs, <\/b>Ph.D.<\/strong>, is Associate Professor of ESOL, Language and Literacy in the Middle and Secondary Education (MSE) Department of Georgia State University. She is the author\/co-editor of five books including: co-editor (with Geeta Verma) of Critical Mass in the Teacher Education Academy: Symbiosis and Diversity<\/em> (2014). Dr. Tinker Sachs is the co-editor of the journal, GATESOL in Action. She is concerned with local and global community building through her partnerships and research projects in Atlanta and in the Bahamas, Canada, Haiti, Hong Kong, Macau and Thailand. Dr. Tinker Sachs\u2019 research focuses on local and international teacher professional development through transformative culturally responsive literacy pedagogies.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Bio:<\/span><\/strong> Ruchi Bhatnagar<\/b>, Ph.D., is Clinical Associate Professor in the College of Education & Human Development at Georgia State University. She serves as the assessment coordinator for the unit of teacher education. Her courses and research focus on teacher education policy and its impact on teaching and teacher education, assessments in teacher education, program evaluation, teacher retention, and equity and social justice issues in teaching and teacher education.
